Gakovo anchors two separate narratives in this research: The Lost Church of Saint Martin; A Folklore Lead in the Gakowa Heimatbuch. The point marks the settlement, not an invented exact scene.

Historical and alternative names used in searches: Gádor; Gákova; Gakowa; Graumarkt. Serbian, Hungarian, German, Croatian and Russian queries were compared, keeping documents, oral traditions and modern retellings separate.

Today Gakovo serves as an honest geographic anchor when a source gives no street, house or microtoponym.
