In 1758 Kristina Horvat, Jovanka Linjakuša and Marija Krstić were accused of witchcraft. A town guard listed herbs, ointments, bones, garlic, wax and other objects taken during their arrest. The published account gives no verdict, so the story ends at the moment ordinary healing knowledge became a judicial suspicion.
