After the population change, the Catholic church in former Krnjaja was left without the community that built it. Local history records that, with ecclesiastical consent, the building was temporarily used and cared for by the Orthodox parish. The story is not about one faith taking another’s property, but about a building surviving through a practical agreement across a historical rupture.
